Why local cremation habits matter for your exotic pet
Cremation accounts for roughly 77.7%[1] of funerals for people in Oregon, and many families here scatter ashes somewhere meaningful. With an exotic pet, the amount may be too small to scatter at all: a sugar glider's remains could fit in a thimble. Some keepers mix them into a planter's soil or keep them whole in a locket instead. The exceptions are burial, which Oregon and your local authority may regulate, and paperwork for species that were permitted, licensed or protected. What to do when your exotic pet dies in Ashland

Can a provider from a neighbouring town collect from Ashland?

Never flush an amphibian or pour its tank water outside. Cremation removes the risk entirely, even if little ash comes back.
Should I put my exotic pet in the fridge or the freezer?
